She Never Gave Up on Her Students | Erin Gruwell | Goalcast

Former American High School teacher Erin Gruwell was told by the school she taught at that her class of underprivileged and underperforming kids would never read a book from cover to cover because “they were too stupid”. However, her unique teaching method inspired the 150 students that came through her classroom to re-think the limiting beliefs they had about themselves and others, reconsider the decisions they made and ultimately changed the course of their lives forever.
