Fox’s The Masked Singer is an adaptation of the Masked Singer franchise and premiered on the television network Fox on January 2, 2019. In this reality singing competition series, celebrities present their version or cover of popular songs while dressed in elaborate head-to-toe costumes. Nick Cannon hosts the show and on the judges’ panel, the audiences see Nicole Scherzinger, Jenny McCarthy, Robin Thicke, and Ken Jeong. At the end of each episode, audience members, as well as judges, vote for their favorite contestant, and the contestant with the least number of votes is eliminated. The contestant who gets eliminated has to take off their mask to reveal their identity. The show has registered huge popularity since the very beginning and has even lead to spin-offs, after shows and national tours.
