Salma Hayek’s Boobs Are Getting a TV Show

Salma Hayek has never been one to be pigeon-holed. The actress and producer has worn many hats over her Hollywood career and is often held as a feminist icon in terms of her business savvy throughout the industry. After gaining the audience’s attention in roles in films such as 1995’s Desperado and 1996’s From Dusk till Dawn, Hayek was quick to develop a reputation as a sex symbol due to her good looks. A starring role in the 1999 blockbuster Wild Wild West alongside Will Smith gained the actress much mainstream exposure, although the film wasn’t a success.

After rising to stardom, Hayek wasn’t content. Her dream was to have her own production company. She made that dream a reality when she founded Ventanarosa. The company had a critical hit with 2002’s Frida, a biopic of the Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. Hayek gave herself the starring role and got nominated for an Academy Award. Afterwards, Ventanarosa ventured into television with 2006’s Ugly Betty. This show became a massive commercial success, further proving Hayek’s abilities as a producer.

Now, Salma Hayek is looking to return to television with a new show on HBO Max. This show will carry on Ventanarosa’s legacy of creating eye-opening and thought-provoking popular entertainment for a mainstream audience. The show is to be titled A Boob’s Life, and will follow a 40-year-old woman whose boobs begin talking to her. The show is based off of a non-fiction book by Leslie Lehr that examines America’s obsession with boobs. The show will share this theme, but with a narrative and comedic edge. As one may imagine, the non-fiction book features fewer talking boobs. Join Facts Verse as we take a look at why Salma Hayek’s boobs are getting their own TV show.
