Schwimmer became interested in acting while studying at the Beverly Hills High School and therefore, chose to study theatre and speech at the Northwestern University in Illinois. He graduated in 1988 and thereafter, started a theatre company. During the early 90s, he appeared in several different TV shows and films. His big break came in 1994 when he was cast as the nerdy paleontologist, Ross Geller. The show made David Schwimmer and the rest of the cast members overnight stars.
Between the late 19990s and early 2000s, Schwimmer did several films, including The Pallbearer, Kissing a Fool, and Six Days Seven Nights. Unfortunately, all of these films tanked at the box office. Thankfully, David Schwimmer had Friends to fall back on. After Friends went off the air in 2004, David tried a variety of different projects. He also made guest appearances on hit shows like 30 Rock and Entourage. In 2016, Schwimmer played Robert Kardashian in American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson, which earned him much love from the critics. However, the actor has failed to deliver anything the success of which can even remotely match the success that Friends brought him. In this video, we tell you why David Schwimmer’s went down the drain after Friends.
