The 2020 Ford Escape mid-sized SUV is starting from ground zero. Although well-equipped and capable, the outgoing generation has never fired Down Under. But Ford Australia is out to change all that when the all-new 2020 Ford Escape arrives around September priced from under $36,000.
More room, more safety, more performance and more equipment – and there’ll even be a Plug-in Hybrid model.
The new 2020 Ford Escape enters one of the most competitive segments in the new car marketplace taking on sales successes such as the Mazda CX-5, Toyota RAV4 and Hyundai Tucson.
Two powertrains will be offered from launch — a 187kW 2.0-litre EcoBoost turbo petrol four-cylinder and a 2.5-litre petrol/electric plug-in hybrid with a 50km pure EV range.
