Eating is one of the most satisfying experiences that we can have every day – especially if we get to eat our favorite meals. And the most exciting thing about food is that there are so many different dishes around the world, that we can always go and look for a new thing to try. But then there are also some other foods that we’re so used to that we take for granted sometimes. And the funny thing about it is that we’ve been eating a lot of foods the wrong way. In today’s video we’ll be looking at “20 foods You Have Been Eating Wrong.” That’s right! You might think you know a lot about food but today you’ll realize that eating certain things could be so much easier if you only knew how to do it right! Stay tuned all the way to number one, because I’m sure you’ll find quite a few items that you’ve been eating wrong, but today you can learn how to do it right!

Leftover Pizza

It doesn’t matter how much we love pizza, sometimes we can’t finish a whole pizza in one go, and that’s totally fine. That’s why we have leftover pizza. However, pizza that’s been sitting in your fridge for a while might not be as tasty as it was when you first got it. But reheating it on a stove with a skillet or a pan can make it crispy again while melting all the good on top! A microwave might sound like a faster choice, but it’ll probably make your pizza soggy and less appealing.

Ice Cream

Everyone knows that the freezer is the place where the ice cream goes. But don’t you feel like ice cream can get a bit too hard to scoop sometimes? I know it’s supposed to be frozen, but too frozen makes it hard to get a scoop out of it. Put your ice cream container inside a freezer bag and you’ll see that your ice cream won’t be so hard to scoop anymore!

Mushrooms

I get it, not everyone likes to eat mushrooms. But those who do might be having a hard time slicing them the right way. It’s easier when you buy them in a can, but everyone loves fresh products, right? If you’re having a hard time cutting your mushrooms try using an egg slicer. Egg slicers have obviously been designed to slice hard-boiled eggs, but they work just the same with those fresh mushrooms you get from the market. You can also try this with strawberries and other small fruits and vegetables that are hard to cut with a regular knife.

Watermelon

Who said watermelon is supposed to be cut in triangles? I know it’s easy to cut, but it’s quite messy to eat sometimes. To make things easier, just cut your watermelon into long slices. You’ll be able to eat the slices you want without getting your face all sticky and messy with the watermelon triangles. If you want to try something a bit more stylish, you can cut your watermelon in half and use an ice cream scoop to get out the flesh into small nice-looking portions.

Ginger

Ginger is popular for its medicinal properties, but also because it adds a lot of great flavor to many dishes. But cutting ginger can be difficult when you don’t know how to properly remove the skin. The easiest way to do it is by using a teaspoon. You’ll be able to remove the skin without wasting your ginger. And the best part about it is that you can use the skin to make some tea when you’re done! In that way, nothing goes to waste.

Apples

There’s nothing complicated about eating an apple. But the one thing that most of us don’t like is the fact that they turn brown way too quickly. If you want to take a bite from your apple and save the best for later, what you can do is slice it up, take the part you want and then put it back together like a puzzle. Then use a rubber band to hold it together and you won’t have to worry about it going brown. It’ll stay fresh for a little longer.

Nice-Looking Ice

Have you noticed how ice always look cloudy? Well, I’m sure that’s the case with your ice unless you’re aware of this hack: Just boil the water prior to putting it in the ice cube containers. The boiling process will remove a lot of the stuff that makes the ice cloudy. The taste will probably stay the same, but you can now impress your guests when you serve them a drink.

Tea

There are different types of tea, but not all of them should be brewed the same way. Yellow, white, and green teas should be brewed for about one to two minutes, while black teas take between 2-3 minutes. And if you go for herbal tea, you can brew it for a longer period of time and do it for about 3 to 5 or even 6 minutes. Otherwise, you might get a tea that is either too strong or too light.
