140 Celebrities Who Got COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic has ravaged the world, but it seems that the United States has been hit particularly hard. A combination of poor preventative measures, as well as citizens and government officials not taking the virus seriously enough, have caused infection rates to skyrocket. Being cooped up inside has taken its toll on those who take the virus seriously, but many people have chosen to shirk their responsibilities by refusing to wear masks and spending time in large crowds. As a result, infection rates continue to climb.

Infection rates were relatively low during the summer when people spent more time outdoors. Studies have shown that the virus travels more efficiently indoors, where there is less airflow. Now that it is cold outside once more, however, infection rates have only gotten worse. Sadly, many people have gone nearly a year without seeing loved ones. Because of this, quite a few families decided to take a risk during the holiday season and hold big Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners. Without proper social distancing guidelines in place, however, those large gatherings are the perfect opportunity for the virus to spread. While it may seem worth it at the time, is it really worth seeing your family members if you’re potentially putting their lives at risk?

We’ve already seen an increase in infection rates as a result of Thanksgiving gatherings, and with New Year’s Eve coming up, we can expect even more people to go out and party, completely oblivious to the danger they are putting themselves and others in.

Unfortunately, this pandemic means we all have to make a lot of sacrifices. As difficult as it is, the safest thing you can do is stay inside and opt to hold video chats rather than meeting with someone face to face. As nice as it is to go to parties or dine in at restaurants, making those sacrifices will help save lives. The sooner we all do our part to stopping this virus, the sooner our lives can go back to the way they used to be.

With nearly 20 million COVID-19 cases present in the United States alone, it should come as no surprise to learn that even some celebrities have contracted this dangerous virus. In today’s video, we’re going to take a look at some of the celebrities who let their guard down and contracted Coronavirus as a result.
